Describe your company. How long have you been there and what led you to this career choice?
NameAction is a great Company to work at, and since is the oldest in the region there is a lot of work with many clients. I have been working for five years. It was my very first job with a degree and once I started working there I loved it, everything moved so quickly and changes had to be made fast and it charmed me.
NamesCon is all about business networking. Can you tell us a story about the success of a meeting at NamesCon?
It is my first time attending NamesCon. Therefore, I hope it does generate the networking I´m looking for.
How does your career compare to what you envisioned in your youth?
It fits perfectly since I always wished to travel with my job.
Can you tell us about how your service or product helps deliver value to your customers?We are the oldest company in Latin America which leads to knowledge that can be given to clients, giving them a very professional service.
What are your thoughts on the new TLDs?
I believe new TLDs give opportunity to people that wished to have a more specific domain therefore giving them the chance to own a domain maybe taken by someone else.
What kinds of changes to you foresee within the industry in the next year? The next five years?
I believe people have become more aware of the industry and therefore are adding importance to domain names, adding certificates and using more there websites to generate business. The industry should continue to grow since it is not something every person knows about; many people that you tell I work in domain names don’t even know what a domain is.
What industry trends or topics do you think will be at the forefront of panel and keynote discussions this year?
I believe security on the internet should be discussed.
If you had 15 extra minutes each day, what would you do with them?
Spend them with my son.
Whats the most recent thing you learned big or small?
I’ve learned that life rotates and changes can be made if you wish hard enough.
What are you proudest of in your life?
My three-year-old son.
Name three things you cant travel without.
My phone, wedding ring, glasses.
Where is your favourite place to escape?
My parents’ house.
What was the best advice you were ever given?
Be kind to people; you never know what struggle they are going through.
