Q&A

Describe your company and how long you have been there:
DNA Sequencing Inc was incorporated in 2010 and I have been its President since then.

Tell us how your product or service helps deliver value to your customers:
DNA Sequencing Inc owns most of the top Exact Match Domains in this niche such as DNAsequencing.com, DNAsequence.com, DNAmap.com, DNAcode.com, HumanGenome.com, DNAtechnology.com etc. These domains get type-in traffic, are meaningful, pass the radio test and have large search volumes and cost per click. A company which wants to dominate the $ 20 Billion per year market in online space can use this portfolio and leave the competition behind.

Can you describe some recent developments in India’s domain market? How will these prove to be important on a global scale?
India has the world’s second largest population. Most of the college educated people speak English. Smartphone business is booming. The Govt has ambitious plans to promote cashless society. And all this is good news for Domain business in India.

What are you most looking forward to at NamesCon India?
I look forward to meeting face to face many with whom I have been in contact online for many years. And doing some deals.

How does your current career compare to what you were doing when you were young?
Domaining started as a hobby in 1998 with registration of Patiala.com and of DNAmap.com in 1999. Then it slowly became my passion. Back then I never thought that one day I will own almost all of Exact Match Domains of a niche which now is worth $20 Billion/year.

If you have 15 extra minutes per day, what would you do with them?
Yoga and exercise.

Latest and greatest accomplishment in your career?
Shhhh. NDA. Sorry.
