Describe a recent challenge that you overcame.
Writing this was a challenge – to open myself up and express my views. Surprisingly, I’m an intensely guarded person who shares little of my private life or thoughts.
What kinds of changes do you foresee in this industry within the industry in the next year? The next 5 years?
The next 5 years? Continued domain name site development in order to monetize native traffic via both search engine providers and direct advertisers. Online shoppers relying more on ecommerce and social media sites than search engines.
What are the current trends that are directly impacting your business?
Google phasing out third-party cookies. New forms of traffic and ways of connecting with brands via Buy Now Pay Later apps and social influencers.
What fact about you would surprise people?
I yearn for the days before the internet and social media.
What are you most proud of?
This is too hard to answer. I am proud of many things.
What was the best advice you were ever given?
Keep calm and carry on.
What’s the most recent thing you learned (big or small)?
I know lots about perianal adenoma tumors in dogs. My Old English Sheepdog had one that was removed last week.
What are you most looking forward to at the upcoming NamesCon?
Reconnecting with friends and associates that I haven’t seen or spoken with in a while. And representing Zeropark at the show.

A conference for online business entrepreneurs.
