What kinds of changes do you foresee in this industry within the industry in the next year? The next 5 years?
I think we will continue to see a major explosion in tlds. Which is both blessing and curse. It gives domainers many more options to acquire premium names but also dilutes the pool of names as well.
What fact about you would surprise people?
That my main hobby away from the computer is being competition shooter.
What are you most proud of?
My grown daughters and the success they are having in life.
What was the best advice you were ever given?
The harder you work, the luckier you will be.
What are the current trends that are directly impacting your business?
The biggest thing is people are becoming much more picky in the domains or websites they buy and think that’s due to the overall economy.
What are you most looking forward to at the upcoming NamesCon?
Meeting and making new connections.
How would you describe NamesCon to a new domainer?
It’s a conference to learn the latest trends in domaining. Also, a place meet and make connections with other domainers and investors.
