In Depth

Who would you call your mentor?

My father

What kinds of changes do you foresee in this industry within the industry in the next year? The next 5 years?

I think the inventory of great one word “.com’s” will continue to dwindle as more companies launch and better understand the value of a great domain. That being said, I see domain values going up significantly in the next 5 years not only for .com but for .io an .co as well.

Describe a recent challenge that you overcame.

Everyday can be a challenge but it helps to remain positive and always be kind to others. I have found that works well.

What fact about you would surprise people?

I can play guitar while jumping on a trampoline.

What are you most proud of?

My family and my reputation.

What was the best advice you were ever given?

If you don’t expect from people then you wont be disappointed.

What’s the most recent thing you learned (big or small)?

“Its not a recent thing I learned but everyone should know… “”Love Is All You Need”” -McCartney/Lennon”

What are the current trends that are directly impacting your business?

More and more companies are better understanding the value and long term benefit of owning a great domain for their brand(s).

What are you most looking forward to at the upcoming NamesCon?

Seeing all of my colleagues in the industry and meeting new people!

How would you describe NamesCon to a new domainer?

Its a good way to learn about several aspects of the domain space and also meet some of the most important and influential people that help shape the industry.
