What kinds of changes do you foresee in this industry within the industry in the next year? The next 5 years?
In the next year: We are going to have to sift through a lot of noise about the so-called decentralized domain names. In the next 5 years: Integrated the changes brought about by ICANN’s next round which will be extremely .brand heavy.

Learning how to continue to build business without face to face opportunities during the pandemic.

I married my college professor.

My children. They are both smart and sincere and are going change their fields.
What was the best advice you were ever given?
You can’t make anyone do anything they don’t want to do. I ignore this advice daily, but it really is true.

What are the current trends that are directly impacting your business?
The loss of meaningful WHOIS has made the buying and selling of domains much more time consuming. A believe a lot of domainers are missing out on really wonderful offers for their domain names which are just not reaching them.
What are you most looking forward to at the upcoming NamesCon?
Seeing old friends and learning from some really smart people.
How would you describe NamesCon to a new domainer?
NamesCon is essential to move from the narrow view that domain name speculation is somehow wrong on its own. The new attendee will see the real business opportunity of a clean (non-branded) portfolio.
