Describe your company and how long you have been there.
DOTZON is a consultancy specialized in top-level domains. I co-founded DOTZON in 2007 and I am the CEO.
Can you tell us about your last time at NamesCon and what you got out of it?
2016 was my first attendance at NamesCon, and it was very informative as I learned a lot about secondary markets.
What are your thoughts on the new TLDs?
I like that companies can get their digital identity on the Internet like .audi, .lamborghini and .volkswagen.
What kinds of changes do you foresee within the industry in the next year? 5 years?
Industry consolidation.
What are you most looking forward to at the upcoming NamesCon?
Networking.
How does your career compare to what you envisioned in your youth?
Since there was no commercial Internet when I was young, I had career perspectives with a focus on IT and software. That the domain name system became the vital part of my business life was not foreseeable then.
How would you describe what you do in a single sentence to a stranger?
I help create digital identities.
If you had fifteen extra minutes each day, what would you do with them?
Go for a run.

The ocean — to swim, surf and snorkel.
