NamesCon Donates $2,800 to Veterans Village in Las Vegas

Leading up to NamesCon 2016, we ran a promotion over Veteran’s Day where we promised to donate $200 from every ticket sale to Veterans Village in Las Vegas.

Veterans Village Las Vegas is a unique and innovative 501 c3 nonprofit organization. They are dedicated to providing transitional housing for United States Veterans with on-site services including a 24/7/365 crisis intervention center, medical and mental health referrals, job placement, Three Square Regional Food Bank nutrition, clothing, twelve step addiction programs, and a host of other services.

“What a wonderful donation to help support us at Veterans Village to provide housing and supportive services for our heroes here in Las Vegas. We are grateful,” responded VVLV founder Arnold Stalk upon receipt of the $2,800 donation from NamesCon.

We thank NamesCon attendees for contributing towards this donation, and we urge you to continue supporting vet services organizations, both in Canada and the USA.
