NamesCon Donates Used Laptops to Charity and So Can You!

Project 150 Charity

01There are over 11,200 homeless students in the Las Vegas valley, and over 2,500 of those are in high school. Project 150 is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to helping the Las Vegas valley homeless youth who continue to go to school. Instead of creating more waste, NamesCon has committed to giving away three used laptops to Project 150 after the conference – and you can help too!

If you’re attending NamesCon and would like to get involved by donating items you no longer need after the conference, simply put aside a pile when you pack up your booth and we’ll take care of collecting it. If you don’t have a booth, you can drop off items at the NamesCon storage room Partagas 3 (find it on the map in the NamesCon mobile app). The most needed school supplies are pens, pencils, highlighters, paper, spiral notebooks, notebook dividers, calculators, index cards, USB flash drives, and backpacks.

You can also help financially by donating directly to Project 150, where 100% of your donations will towards helping homeless students.
