Describe your company and how long you have been there.
Evergreen.com helps startups and major brands buy and sell 1word.com domains. Adam Strong and I co-founded Evergreen in 2016. However, we first met at TRAFFIC New York in 2007 and started partnering on projects in 2011.

What kinds of changes do you foresee within the industry in the next year five years?
Further consolidation of service providers and portfolios.

What are you most looking forward to at the upcoming NamesCon?
Connecting with old and new friends.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I’m obsessed with sacred geometry and fibonacci design.

How did you get your start in the industry?
My first role in the online space was a designer/developer for a popular online casino. It was the best way to learn about traffic behaviour, SEO and conversion, circa 2001.

How would you describe what you do in a single sentence to a stranger?
I help companies buy and sell web addresses.

If you had 15 extra minutes each day, what would you do with them?
Read.

Who has been the biggest influence on your life? What lessons did that person teach you?
My sons. They have taught me selflessness, devotion, not to sweat the small stuff, and why sleep deprivation is used as a form of torture in some parts.

Where is your favourite place to escape?
Any one of the beautiful beaches on our island home.

What was the best advice you were ever given?
“Just Do It!” – Shia LaBeouf
