Describe your company and how long you have been there?

190 (also referred to as 190.com) is a subsidiary of the Xiao Qiang Financial Services Group and is located in Shenzhen. 190.com provides a trading platform for domain names, trademarks, digital currencies, in-game purchases, and social media account numbers. We offer nine digital asset services that include registration, online auctions, BIN (buy it now), escrow, brokerage, loans (Fumen.com), international transactions, daily news, and an online forum called 190 community. 190 is a closed-loop ecosystem for global digital asset transactions. I’ve been working in 190.com for 2 years.

What can attendees look forward to during your session?

I would like to share some interesting information regarding Chinese domainers and discuss how to deal with Chinese domainers or brokers.

What would you like attendees to learn or take away from your session?

I’m hoping that attendees can have a much better understanding of Chinese domainers and the Chinese domain market, as it is a very fast-growing market.

What are you most looking forward to at the upcoming NamesCon?

I would like to meet more domainers from all over the world and it would also be great if i can get a few deals done during NamesCon. 🙂

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

I’m actually still a freshman in this business and I was both an entrepreneur and a teacher before I joined 190.

How did you get your start in the industry?

Back in 2015, my mentor Daniel wanted to purchase a huge number of 4L.com chips, he thought that my English was good so he asked me to help him with purchases from all over the world.

What advice can you offer those who are just getting their start in the domain industry?

Please listen to the advice of experienced domainers before you make the first purchase.

How does your career compare to what you envisioned in your youth?

It’s quite different, when I was in middle school I always thought that I would become an interpreter in my future career.

If you had fifteen extra minutes each day, what would you do with them?

Well, I think I would help my clients sell or buy a few more domain names.

Latest and greatest accomplishment in your career?

I helped my client purchase 757.com & TS.com

Where is your favourite place to escape?

I would say Australia’s Gold Coast.

What was the best advice you were ever given?

Do the things you like and like the things you do.
